2020 Scholarship Applications are now open!

Carolina Foothills awards thousands in scholarships annually.

In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a member of Carolina Foothills Federal Credit Union and have a non-weighted GPA of 3.0 or higher. Enrollment as a full-time student is required for scholarship acceptance. Applications are due February 1, 2020.

Checks Are Presented To Micro Grant Awardees

History was made as the first ever Carolina Foothills Federal Credit Union Micro Community Grants were presented in June, 2016. Making the presentations on behalf of CFFCU were Board Chairman Isaac Dickson and President/CEO Scott Weaver.

Upstate grant

Carolina Foothills Federal Credit Union recently awarded Upstate Family ResourceCenter $1,700.00 as part of the credit union’s micro community grant program.

Upstate Family will use the funds to teach financial literacy to ten families in order to foster personal wealth and savings.


Butterfly foundation community grant

Carolina Foothills Federal Credit Union recently awarded The Butterfly Foundation $800.00 as part of the credit union’s micro community grant program.

The Butterfly Foundation will use the funds to support their 15-week Culinary Job Training program for individuals who are unemployed, underemployed, homeless and previously incarcerated so that they can obtain a better paying job in the food service industry.


Spartanburg urban mission grant

Carolina Foothills Federal Credit Union recently awarded the Spartanburg Urban Mission CDC $2,500.00 as part of the credit union’s micro community grant program.

Spartanburg Urban Mission will use the funds to support their ‘healthy food box’ program that will give locally grown, healthy food weekly to at least 24 families.
